Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu gives daughter out in marriage.
2 min readAngolan based Akalite, philanthropist and businessman; Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu has once again given one of his daughters out in marriage. It can be recalled that Iwuaku on 13 of April, gave out one of his daughters in marriage to his in-laws from Nanka Anambra State and on the 16th of the same month, he also gave out another daughter, former Miss Emmanuelle Iwuchukwu to Mr Obinna David Chukwukere, the son of Elder Chukwu Levi Chukwukere (Elcoworld), from Umuezikoha Uba Umuaka.
By the time Umuaka Times arrived at the event, several dignitaries had also arrived and seated at their different canopies. The Uba Umuaka in-laws who came in their large numbers were also in the happy mood during the traditional marriage ceremony. Unlike some other traditional marriage ceremonies, there was no form of arguments between two communities over marriage rites.
The highest point of the ceremony was when the master of the ceremony asked the Ugbele people to confirm if there were any other marriage rites the Uba people were yet to complete. The Ugbele community through their spokesman confirmed that nothing was remaining for Uba in-laws to do. At this point, the whole guests clapped and heavy refreshments began immediately.
The time for the new couple to come out at the dance floor reached and the new wife, Mrs Emmanuelle Chukwukere came out alone. Umuaka Times gathered that the husband who was in faraway Europe could not make it home for the event as the church wedding had already been fixed in the next few months. With her mother and other family members from both villages, the new wife danced around the compound in her native attire to the admiration of all who came for the big event.
From all indications, the traditional wedding between former Miss Emmanuelle Iwuchukwu and Mr Mr Obinna David Chukwukere was a huge success.
