Angolan based businessman, philanthropist and social worker, Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu last week, mourned his elder sister, the late Madam Celestina Nwaigbeze Duruaku (nee Iwuchukwu). Mazi Iwuaku who was present and participated fully during the burial of the 76 year old woman was seen in a totally mournful mood during the burial of the woman last week being Thursday 18 January 2024.

In a special funeral and graveside oration read by Mazi Iwuchukwu, he expressed his heartfelt state of mind and lamented that the late Madam Durueke had left her children, siblings, family members and friends behind at the time they all needed her most.

A paragraph in the funeral oration captured it thus. “In recent times, death has proven to me that, this world is a place to live and depart without notifying anybody even your loved ones. Few years ago, we lamented together over the demise of our beloved Brother, Chief Kizito Iwuchukwu. Today the same news is hitting me hard on your behalf.”

Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu also expressed his worries over the Iwuchukwu dynasty. “I am troubled, worried and fearful over the Iwuchukwu Kingdom which you suffered from childhood to build.” While ending the graveside oration, Mazi Iwuchukwu expressed his optimism and assurance that the Iwuchukwus who are alive today will continue to keep the Iwuchukwu flag flying.” Your good works shall not be in vain because it is a great sacrifice that cannot be forgotten.”

He finally prayed to God to accept the soul of her auntie in His Paradise, with a big hope to meet and depart no more on the last day.
