Meet Alex Iwuoha, the pencil God used to rewrite the history of Samuel Osuala.
3 min readMr Onyedikachi Obed Alex Iwuoha is a 25 year old boy from Uba Umuaka. He is a member of the highly talented and famous Iwuoha Odunze family in Umuezikoha Uba. From what Umuaka Times gathered last week, Brother Alex is a fully dedicated child of God. He is not a pastor and does not intend to become one. He is just a Catholic boy who heard the Word of God in his early life and accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and personal saviour. In his own words, he described himself as “A Catholic Mass servant, a friend and lover of Jesus Christ in the most Blessed Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.”
In the Pentecostal configurations of today, Alex will be described as a prayer warrior or a mighty man of God. Some may even woo him to join hands with them and establish a church. But to the surprise of Umuaka Times reporters, Alex does not look for titles, accolades or anything else materially. Umuaka Times went through pains trying to convince him to grant a brief interview on the success recorded on the healing of Samuel Osuala. He practically refused, insisting that all the glories would go to God and not him.
Many people, including Umuaka Times assumed that Alex was a pastor but information which circulated in Umuaka shortly after the healing of Samuel has shown that he is not a pastor but a dedicated child of God from Roman Catholic Church. He has cousins who are also men of God.
Besides giving glory to God for the healing Samuel Osuala received, Alex has a message to Umuaka people and other Christians around. Hear him. “Go into the world proclaim the Gospel of the kingdom of Heaven to all creation, heal, every sickness, diseases and cast out every demon.”
Alex Iwuoha remains someone that rekindles hope in the life of young Akalites of today. He does not smoke, drink or live a wayward life. All he does is mind his POS business and use his remaining time to promote the works and beauty of God. There is hardly anything he does without first hearing from God. During the healing of Samuel Osuala a couple of weeks ago, the local affairs correspondents of Umuaka Times almost did the impossible in order to convince him to grant a brief interview to them. He bluntly refused on the excuse that the Holy Spirit has not permitted that.
When he eventually granted the interview by the appointed time, he warned Umuaka Times not to make the mistake of promoting him instead of God Almighty who did the miracle. He called on the people of Umuaka to come close to God and develop strong faith in him.
As the news of the miracle at Afor Umuaka went viral especially when Umuaka Times Television released the official TV documentary of the event, many people have continued to ask for the contact of the altar boy. Even some “motorcycle boys” did their best as well to get in contact with him. Being a conservative and a highly principled child of God, he does not need such associations.
Umuaka Times uses this opportunity to thank God for using one of His sons to heal one of His sons.
Let Jah be praised.
