It was a total Naira rain on December 26 2025 in Obinwanne Umuaka as the Bishop of Orlu Diocese; His Lordship Augustine Ukwuoma dedicated St Patrick’s Church. After the successful church service and dedication, the Bishop called the royal father of the community HRM Eze Justin Ezeala to come and make a speech. While making his speech, he thanked everyone who had played one role or another towards the success of the church project.

After the vote of thanks, the OnyeEze as he is fondly called asked the congregation if they were afraid and they all chorused a big no. He then entered the next phase of the program which was the launching for a building project that would contain a hall and some shops. After announcing the donations he received from his friends who supported the project with different sums of money ranging from a million to 5 million, he announced a donation of N20 million from the Ezeala royal family. The moment this announcement was made, it was not possible to control the crowd as they jubilated with thunderous clapping of hands in appreciation of the huge donation by the highly humanitarian royal father.
Another fellow who shocked the congregation was a man who was introduced as Eze-elect by HRM Eze Justin Ezeala; by name Engineer Magnus Agara. The Amurie Omanze born philanthropist quietly moved from the position he was sitting and took the microphone from Onye Eze, thanked the Obinwanne people for their resilience, announced some donations and finally announced a personal donation of N10 million.

Chief Chukwuma Ezeala, the legal adviser of Obinwanne community also made a donation of N1million in addition to the family donation announced by the royal father.
There were other people who made donations to support the project but the truth remains that the Obinwanne Catholics have again demonstrated the strength in unity and the power of oneness and good leadership.
