Mrs Susan Unanma goes home at 81.

The Christian community in Njaba, Orlu and Imo State was last week thrown into deep mourning, following the death of Madam Susan Ebere Unamma, a devote Christian mother and a top woman leader in Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community of Njaba LGA Imo State. This information was contained in a press statement issued on behalf of the family by one of the children of the deceased, Mr Chinenye Unanma which was made available to newsmen, including Umuaka Times in Owerri last week.
According to the press statement which was signed by Chinenye Unamma, a seasoned banker based in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, Mrs Unamma who died after a brief illness on June 19, 2022, was survived by her 6 children and a host of grandchildren, family members and Christian brothers and sisters.
Umuaka Times gathered that during the lifetime of Mrs Susan Ebere Unanma, she was an active member of the Saints Gospel Church Amazano. Her membership of the church afforded her with the selfless opportunity to preach the gospel of God to many, together with her late husband, Rev Dr Godwin Unanma.
The burial announcement for the late matriarch of the Unanma family who died at the age of 81 is yet to be made public. Umuaka Times sympathizes with the Unanma family and the entire Christian community in Amazano community.
