2 min readYoung, talented and highly versatile Muna Iberosi is just 15 years old but he has already started making waves in juniour basketball in far away United States of America. Muna, Umuaka Times gathered is in the 19th grade at Peachtree Ridge High School in Duluth GA USA, where he led the Junior Varsity team, and played in the Varsity team. Muna has been playing basketball from his second grade days. Further findings by Umuaka Times showed that the Umuaka born basketball wizkid has played in Gwinnett Basketball League (GBL) and he currently plays with Tribe-Atl 2024 team, in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball circuit.
By current rankings, Tribe-Atlanta 2024 team is occupying number 5 in Georgia and number 19 in the nation by AAU, in the famous Under15 category. Umuaka Times learnt that Tribe Atlanta 2024 is the current champion at the 5th Annual Spring Break Classic competition played in Atlanta Georgia.

Speaking with Umuaka Times on the career of Muna Iberosi, Mr Simon Iberosi, the father of the young star made some remarkable comments. “He is fifteen. He is a basketball enthusiast. At this stage we can leave it that way. I don’t think it will be fair to pigeon hole him. We as parents encourage him, but we really want him to evolve. If he ends up as a professional, all to the glory of God.”

Mr Iberosi told Umuaka Times that he and some other stake holders are working very hard to put Muna to college basketball. It is this college basketball that will train and mould him into the basketball profession.
