“My encounter with Peter Obi”. Chief Pedro Odoemenam.

South African based Akalite and businessman, Chief Pedro Odoemenam also known as Ishiehi, last week took the same flight with the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi to Lagos. According to Chief Pedro Odoemenam, the Air Peace flight took off from Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport Owerri to Lagos and when Obi entered inside the aircraft, he came alone and went straight to the economy section of the flight where his seat has been reserved for him. Everybody in the aircraft started to hail him the moment they sighted him.
As the aircraft moved on, Obi remained calm as he was busy waving to all those who tried to greet him. The atmosphere of euphoria got electrified when the aircraft landed in Lagos and almost everyone in the airport, including other passengers from other airlines, admirers, FAAN workers and more, besieged him to take photographs with him. Some prayed for him and some asked for his number.
It was at this moment that Chief Pedro Odoemenam took time to move closer to him and Obi removed his face mask and they both took a picture together. From what Chief Odoemenam said, Peter Obi has indeed turned into a solid political movement with a solid ideology. “From all indications, Obi is the choice of the new Nigerians and he represents the change we all seek.” Odoemenam told Umuaka Times last week.
Odoemenam finally appealed to the Nigerian voters to try their best and vote for Peter Obi come February 2023 and make him the responsible and responsive president of Nigeria.
