NUPI beauty queen bags one year scholarship from NUPI.

Miss Precious Chinemezu Anokwute, a model, beauty queen and the winner of Miss Akah City 2020 Beauty Contest last week received the sum of N71,500 from New Umuaka Project Initiative NUPI, organizers of the program. According to a press statement issued last week by the Director of Protocols NUPI, which was made available to newsmen, “The payment covers her one year school fees and it is part of the prize/benefits attached to the position she currently occupies as Miss Akah City.”
Umuaka Times gathered that the payment to Miss Precious was not the first time the organization was releasing money to its beauty contest winners. Umuaka Times has it on good authority that on July 8, 2021, NUPI made available, one year school fee to the Face of NUPI to Miss Anita Ogazi who is currently a student at the University of Calabar.
NUPI, Umuaka Times gathered has been doing its best to totally fulfill its financial promises to the whole beauty queens who emerged victorious during the event by December 2020.
Speaking with an Umuaka Times correspondent on the development and the payment of her school feel, Miss Precious Chinemezu Anokwute who is a student of Laboratory Technology at the famous Institute of Management Technology Enugu (HND 2), told Umuaka Times that she was so happy that NUPI has come to fulfill the financial obligations it has with the beauty queens. She thanked the organization, her friends, supporters and Umuaka Times and those who stood for her during the contest. She appealed to NUPI to maintain the integrity of the program in the subsequent years.
