NUPI beauty queens kick-off their pet projects.

The five young girls who emerged as beauty queens from the beauty pageant held last in Umuaka have now decided to pursue their pet projects. The pageant which was organized by New Umuaka Project Initiative NUPI produced five finalists who became beauty queens in five different categories. The pet projects tagged, Skill the Girl Child in Akah City will hold on Friday, 30th April, 2021 at the premises of Girls Technical Secondary School Umuaka.
From a press statement which was released by the organizing body, NUPI, the workshop will feature trainings on teaching and production of cosmetics like; liquid soap, hand sanitizer and perfumes etc. There is also a provision for teaching and baking of cakes, doughnuts, egg rolls, fish pies and more.
Another segment of the program will be an interactive session on the Importance of Entrepreneurship and Skills to Every Akah City Girl Child.
The beauty queens who are also the organizers of this historic event are Queen Anokwute Precious Chigaemezu (Miss Akah City 2021). Queen Ogazi Anita Chialuka (Face of NUP-i 2021). Queen Duru Chioma Flora (Pride of Akah City 2021). Queen Ibekwe Esther Chinelo (Face of Akah City 2021) and Queen Amadike Onyebuchi Marypatricia (Miss Akah City Top model 2021).
This is an exclusive NUPI program which has been commended by many Akalites both home and abroad. A top NUPI official Mr. Chimnemezu Nwaeze (Vinepaul), told Umuaka Times that the event has been packaged in a way that it would hit its expected result and positive change.
