The Obiato Uba Umuaka Council of Chiefs, comprising traditional chieftaincy title holders from Obiato Uba Umuaka’s three kindreds – Umuezeala, Ndiuhu and Umuezikeukwu – has achieved a significant milestone. After months of effort, the group has successfully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria.

During an official encounter with Umuaka Times, the council’s chairman, High Chief Eddy Ikwubuo, shared the exciting news with local affairs correspondents. He expressed satisfaction that their hard work had finally paid off and called on the members to embrace the development.

In a review of the registration documents by Umuaka Times, it was confirmed that the Obiato Uba Umuaka Council of Chiefs met all the necessary requirements and was eventually registered. The council has been assigned CAC registration number 8571182, a development that has been verified by Umuaka Times.

With this official recognition, the Obiato Uba Umuaka Council of Chiefs is now a formally registered community-based organization, backed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This new status is expected to enhance the council’s credibility and ability to serve Uba Umuaka community effectively in diverse ways.
