Oby Ezeigbo floats NGO for teenage girls.
1 min readUK based top Nigerian socialite and gospel musician Oby Ezeigbo has floated a new NGO with a special focus on girls and teenage mothers. The NGO which is known as Our Flower Girls and Teenage Mothers Foundation which has a special interest on how to guide girls and protect them from the dangers of their teenage life has already become operational in the country.
Umuaka Times gathered in an exclusive interview with the founder, Oby Ezeigbo that the NGO is structured to reach out to teenage girls and teenage mothers, especially in secondary schools across the country on how best to save them from social dangers and stigma they face, in respect of their body developments.
According to the program the NGO has put in place already, female students from secondary schools in Umuaka and her environs will benefit from most of its outreaches. Umuaka Times reliably gathered that the new NGO, Our Flower Girls and Teenage Mothers Foundation will be carrying out a health related outreach in Umuaka and other communities very soon. One of the aims of the outreach will be to empower the female students and present them with sanitary pads.
