OZB bags public service award from Umuaka Times.

The House of Reps member representing Nkwerri-Isu, Nwangele and Njaba Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo popularly known as OZB has been penciled down for recognition by Umuaka Times. This decision was reached by Umuaka Times management after a careful study of the empowerment programs the honourable member has initiated and completed in the constituency. In the youth empowerment program, many youths across Umuaka and other towns in his constituency were empowered with buses, cars, motorcycles and cash gifts also. Umuaka Times also observed that the honourable member was the brain behind the new borehole water project at Afor Umuaka Modern Market which is powered by solar energy.
It is on record that since the inception of democracy from 1999 till date, no former LG chairman, Reps member, senator and more have built the capacity of the youths and market women in this regard.
It was this consideration that gave the inspiration to Umuaka Times to recognize Hon Ozuruigbo in order to encourage him to do more and let other politicians coming after him to follow his footsteps. The date and venue for the award is yet to be fixed.
