Pa Linus Enweregeme Anuebu for burial on Jan. 10.

The burial date of the late Mr Linus Enweregeme Anuebu has been fixed. Umuaka Times reporters gathered that the community leader and a devote Christian father who hails from Umuduruonyirioha kindred of Umudimnawu village of Umuakpuru Amiyi Akah will be buried on Saturday January 10, 2026 in his compound.

Before the burial holds on the preferred date, a Christian wakes night and service of songs have been fixed to hold by 8 pm also in the compound of the deceased in Umuakpuru Amiyi Akah on Friday 9, January 2026.
On Saturday 10 January 2026 by 7:30 am, the remains of the deceased will leave Aladimma General Hospital’s mortuary in a motorcade to his compound. Lying in state kicks off by 9 am on the same date. By 10 am, funeral service kicks off at Emmanuel’s Anglican Church Amiyi Akah which will be performed by the Anglican Bishop of Orlu Diocese the Right Reverend Benjamin Chinedum Okeke.
Interment follows immediately by mid-day in his compound at Amiyi Akah.
The late Linus Enweregeme Anuebu died at the age of 86 and he is survived by Mr Ikenna Anuebu, head of the family and a South African based businessman, (first son). Mr Uzonna Anuebunwa (son), Mr Nnadozie Paulinus Anuebunwa (son), Mrs Oluchi Emeka Dike, (daughter), Mrs Amaka Bukus Nlemuzor (daughter), Mrs Eberechukwu Massy Ukonu (daughter) and Mrs Ogechi Ugochukwu Nnenbuzo.
From what Umuaka Times gathered, many people will be expected from many parts of Igboland during the burial and every aspect of the program will be strictly followed according to timing.
