Pain and grief in Achara as Mrs Alice Anokwute dies at 55.

With a heart filled with pains and grief, the Anokwute family in Acharaji Akah of Njaba LGA Imo State announces the untimely passage of Mrs Alice Nnenna Anokwute (nee Oguwike). According to a press statement signed by Mr Victor Emeka Anokwute which Umuaka Times correspondents obtained from Ambassador Donald Anokwute, a South African based businessman and a member of the family, the late Mrs Alice Anokwute passed on to glory on Tuesday November 5 2024.
Umuaka Times also reliably gathered that the burial arrangements for the rites of passage for the deceased have been released. The burial of the late devot christian mother has been fixed to hold on Thursday January 9, 2025.
It can be recalled that the late Miss Alice Nnenna Anokwute was the mother of Miss Anokwute who won Miss Akah City beauty contest organized by NUPI in 2020.
