Parents hail Diamond Princess Academy as studies begin.

On Tuesday September 9, 2025, the much awaited inauguration and opening of the 2025 and 2026 academic session at Diamond Princess Academy came to pass in a grand style that left parents talking in positive terms. First, the event kicked off with a high Mass celebrated by two priests from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Isiozi and St Mary’s Church both in Umuaka.

After the Mass, the international representative of the great academic hub, Barrister Leo Offorji took time to explain why he and his team brought the nursery, primary and secondary school of international standard to Umuaka. According to him, education is the key to success and he and his team saw the need to properly educate the younger generations in the state with high quality education fashioned after the British system.

The next thing that took place after the Mass was a medical exercise where the pupils had their medical tests in preparation for their academic struggles. When the medical team was done with the tests, the pupils and their parents were then served light refreshments.

Before the event came to an end, each of the pupils received a beautiful school bad, writing materials and a set of school uniforms.

From Umuaka Times findings, many parents from in and outside Umuaka are rushing to register their children at Diamond Princess Academy because of what the new academic citadel is ready to impact children with.
