Pastor George Izunwa loses mum.

The mother of the Lead Pastor of Gateway International Church GIC, Mrs Grace Izunwa has passed on. This information was contained in a press statement the Port Harcourt based man of God, Pastor George Izunwa issued on 2nd October 2022. In the press statement which was personally signed by the Pastor himself, his mother, Mrs Grace Ndawi Amara Izunwa passed on, on 1st October 2022.
The late Mrs Grace Izunwa, according to the press statement took ill physically a couple of months ago before going to be with the Lord.
No date has been fixed for the burial of the woman who was known for her humility, fear of God and simple lifestyle. Efforts are being put in place towards the preparation for the burial as soon as possible.
Meanwhile many people who came across the news since last week, have been sending their condolence messages to Pastor Izunwa, his siblings, the extended Izunwa family and the entire Gateway family across the globe.
As it stands now, the Izunwa family is still holding meetings and making consultations on the appropriate date to fix the burial of the woman who dedicated her life and that of her children to the service of God.
When Umuaka Times contacted Pastor George last week on the development, he disclosed that no date has been fixed for the celebration of the life of Mrs Grace Izunwa but he went further and informed Umuaka Times that when the date is fixed, Umuaka Times will be informed.
The publisher of Umuaka Times and its staff condole with the Izunwa family over the great loss.
