The buildup for the campaign train of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has received yet another massive endorsement and suppor from America. An American based Diasporan group, African Coalition for Good Leadership has set every plan in motion to host Mr Obi in a town hall meeting on Friday September 2 2022.
According to the document obtained by the Umuaka Times correspondent in America, the event which will also raise the sum of 1 million US Dollars to support Obi’s candidacy will have Umuaka Njaba LGA Imo State born Chief Chris (Chriwowo) Nwachukwu, philanthropist and American based attorney as the chairman of the town hall meeting. A lecture titled, The State of Nigeria in Global Economy will be delivered during the event and the guest lecturer is His Excellency Mr Peter Obi.
Umuaka Times gathered that the host for this historic event, African Coalition for Good Leadership, has provided all necessary arrangements for the successful hosting of the international town hall meeting and fundraising. Such arrangements include the venue of the event which is 3100 Event Center, 3100 Avalon Ridge Place, Peachtree Corners GA.30071. The time for the event is 8:00PM EST. Umuaka Times also gathered that for registration and refreshment for the event is in different categories.
