With a deep sense of grief, the family of late Nwachukwu of Ezeunamba Ubani of Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community has announced the untimely passage of her beloved son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, the late Polycap Eze Nwachukwu.
From the reports filed by the local affairs correspondents of Umuaka Times, the sad event took place on Thursday September 12 2024 after a brief illness.
A press statement Umuaka Times obtained from the family which was signed by one of the sons of the deceased, Royal Praise Emeka Nwachukwu, the late Polycap Nwachukwu will be buried on Monday January 7, 2025.
The funeral arrangements show that on Monday January 6, 2025, there will be a Christian wake keep and service of songs at his residence in Obinwanne Umuaka. Kick-off time is 9pm.
On Tuesday 7 January 2025, the remains of the deceased top community stakeholder will leave the mortuary of Umuaka Community Hospital to his residence in Ezeunamba Ubani Obinwanne by 7 am.
Lying in-state holds from 8 am to 9.45 am.
Requiem Mass starts by 10 am at St Patrick’s Catholic Church Obinwanne.
Interment follows immediately at the family compound in Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community.
Outing Mass will be on Sunday January 12 2025 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church Obinwanne. The late Polycap Nwachukwu was called by his Creator at the age of 67.
