“Save my life before I die.” Miss Gloria Nnaka cries out for help.
2 min readMiss Gloria Nnaka, a 27 year old lady from Achara Umuaka in Njaba LGA Imo State is facing a serious health challenge. The graduate of parasitology and entomology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, for a period of two years now, has been battling to save her life from what medical authorities diagnosed as kidney disease in a layman’s interpretation. After the diagnosis was established, the doctors recommended kidney transplant for Miss Gloria Nnaka. The doctors also recommended that for the poor girl to continue to be alive, she must be in constant need of dialysis, pending when the total sum of N15 million will be raised to carry out the kidney transplant in an Abuja hospital as soon as possible. When Umuaka Times came across the case of Gloria Nnaka recently through Care Smile Foundation, the online newspaper promised to help in its own way and bring the case to the public domain. Efforts have been estoblished by Umuaka Times to contact the Corporate Social Responsibility department of African Independent Television AIT to take up the publicity of the case.
In her own sorrowful plea, Gloria wrote. “I am pleading with anyone and everyone who comes across this to please come to my aid and I pray that God will keep blessing you all.”
