Umuaka Times can now authoritatively reveal that the much awaited arrival of Savka Table Water has materialized. Last week, Umuaka Times local affairs correspondents went to Owerri at the headquarters of the producers of Savka Table Water and engaged the young Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Prince Saviour Chigaemezu Ojinnaka in a brief exclusive interview.

According to the high profile and gentlemanly mulatto CEO, he went into the table water production business because of the high demand for clean and drinkable water in Imo State and other nearby states. Hear him; “You know, cholera and typhoid fever are really killing our people due to bad and contaminated water they drink on daily basis. We had to move into the business to save our people from untimely deaths occurring from contaminated water they drink. That is why our water is affordable.”

The company which is located in Avu town in Owerri West LGA Imo State came into business in February 2025 and it has been doing very well since then as the firm distributes the Savka Table Water in hotels across the state. According to Umuaka Times findings, Savka Table Water is fast becoming a household name in hotels in Njaba, Isu and other local government areas in the state. Besides hotels, many restaurants, canteens and homes in the state have all switched over to Savka Table Water since last year. Umuaka Times gathered that the company is finding it difficult to meet up with demands from her customers.

The CEO disclosed to Umuaka Times that the firm is also in need of distributors in and outside Imo State. He further hinted that Savka Table Water meets up with international hygiene standard. “We did our research very well before going into this business. I just returned from Europe where my research work took me to. We gathered information and materials from Europe and locally too. When we talk about hygiene, we mean it and we must always maintain it.”
