2 min readSunday October 22 2023 was a great day in the capital city of India New Delhi as Mazi Emmanuel Ihekwoaba Chikezie Ignatius and his wife Ngozi Eunice Ignatius both of Umuduruorji Achara dedicated their bouncy baby boys set of twins, masters Donald Somtochukwu Ignatius and Daniel Oluebubechukwu Ignatius. From the report filed by the Umuaka Times correspondent in India, the big event which was attended by Nigerians and Indians as well as other friends of the parents of the twins took place at St Dominic’s Church Vasant Vihar New Delhi India. The reception followed at the church hall immediately after the Mass service.
According to the Umuaka Times correspondent, the naming and twins dedication ceremony was like a “who is who” event among Nigerians living in New Delhi and other cities such as NangloiJat, Loni, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and more. They all came in their large numbers and celebrated with the parents of the new twins.
While having a brief interview with Umuaka Times after the event, the father of the twins Mazi Emmanuel Ihekwoaba Chikezie Ignatius on behalf of his wife Mrs Ngozi Unice Ignatius first thanked the priest who baptized the twins named Rev. Father Ajit Raj for his spiritual guidance and support before, during and after the event. He also extended his vote of thanks to all Akalites, Africans, Indians and other friends and well-wishers from other parts of the world for their time and support.
In a special way, the parents of the twins sent their warmest greetings to some friends like Arthur Amaechi, Chigozie Probity, Okechukwu Egwim, Victor Osunwa, Philip Chinedu and others.
While concluding his prayers, he prayed to God to bless all those who came to share the joy of having twins with him and his wife with their own twins respectively. He used the opportunity and appealed to all Igbo people in Nigeria to remain calm and law abiding as he sees a bright future for them in the nearest time possible.
