The Anugohs hold 1 year memorial for their late mum.

Just like yesterday, it has already been one year in the minds of those who knew her, loved her and those she touched their lives in diverse ways. The late Lolo Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh (nee Nnamuka Ezeala) has already clocked 365 days in the bosom of our Lord. To mark the one year memorial anniversary, the family of late Chief Edward EzeAnugoh (popularly known as DrHoha) of Umuonyiriegbe Amaeze Amurie Omanze in Isu LGA Imo State has announced the events marking the one year memorial of the matriarch of the Anugoh dynasty, the late Lolo Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh. The announcement was contained in a press statement which was issued by High Chief Barrister Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba), an Australian based legal practitioner and the first son of the late Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh.

According to the press statement which the family exclusively made available to Umuaka Times, there will be a memorial service at St John’s Anglican Church Amurie Omanze in Isu LGA in Imo state. The memorial service will start by 8:30am on the same day being January 4, 2026.

The memorial service will end, on or before 12 mid-day and the congregation, well-wishers, family and friends will then move to the country home of High Chief Barrister Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba) in Umuonyiriegbe, Amaeze Amurie Omanze for the reception and entertainment of guests.
From what Umuaka Times gathered last week, several dignitaries from the public service, organized private sector, captains of industry, and legal luminaries from both the bar and the bench, including Nigerians in diaspora are expected to grace the memorial ceremony.
Lolo Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh was a devoted Christian mother who dedicated her life to the service of God during her lifetime. She passed on at the aged of 92 years.
