The Biography of Late Mr Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu.
2 min readA great son, brother, husband, father and uncle was the second son and forth child of chief Benedict Chukwuwem meremikwu and Mrs. Benedeth Eriaba Meremikwu both of the blessed memory of Umuduruaku, Ndeziama Amakor in Amakor Autonomous community, Njaba L.G.A, Imo State. Late Mr. Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu was born on 1st October 1963.
He started his education journey at All Saints Primary School Umuaka after meeting up with the requirements in those days. All Saints is now known as Community School Umuaka.
Ifecus completed his primary education and came out in flying colours . He proceeded to Ibadan to serve one of his uncles Mr. Alphonsus Nwawuba who was a very good successful businessman dealing on fancy . He finished his apprenticeship and started his own fancy business at Ibadan . Mr. Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu’s relocation to Enugu led him to meet his beloved wife Mrs. Kate Ndidi Meremikwu. Their marriage was blessed with four children, two male and 2 females. Late Mr. Cyriacus Meremikwu was always a leader in any organization he found himself.
At Enugu, he was the chairman of their street “Dede One Day Street” for five years. After the death of his mother, he came back home because East and West home is the best. He became a member of Amakor Age Grade and held the post of their chairmanship for fifteen good years. Ifecus was also a member of Amakor Progressive, Okpuhu Forum to mention but a few.
Late Mr. Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu was the PDP chairman Umuaka Ward III Amakor before the prolonged sickness that led him to death. He was a very good administrator who could handle the affairs of unions effectively and efficiently. Ifecus was an executive member of Umuduruaku and held the post of treasurer till death. Late Mr. Cyriacus. Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu was a role model. His legacy can never be over emphasized. We love you but God loves you most.

Mourners include Mrs. Kate Ndidi Meremikwu – wife, Mr. Ebuka Meremikwu – son, Mrs. Chiamaka Ekezie – daughter, Master Chibueze Meremikwu – son, Chief Vitalis Meremikwu – Brother, Mr. Emeka Kolojah Meremikswu – brother, Mrs. Rose Udeagwu – sister and Mrs. Scholastica Nwariwe – sister. Akadu Meremikwu – sister, 2 grandsons and other relations.
