The Glorious Passage of Mother. Mary Iwuofor.

The burial program of the late Mrs Mary Eziada Ezihuo Iwuofor has come and gone in a blaze of glory and praises to God. The rites of passage which started on the night of Wednesday August 16, 2023 in Umulolo Umuezeala Uba Umuaka saw many Catholics gather together in the family compound of the diseased where they observed a service of songs and wake keep all night long. The following day being Thursday 17 August 2023 the family, friends and other Christian brothers and sisters took time to perform the Church rituals at St Mary’s Catholic Church Umuaka where a funeral Mass was held for the repose of the soul of the diseased.
During the church service, the priest who celebrated the Mass took time to extol the virtues of the woman in question and further talked about the need for Christians to show good examples as amplified by Jesus Christ in all their dealings. In no distant time, the church service came to an end and all the people again moved to the family of the diseased for the interment.
The ambulance conveying the remains of late Madam Mary Iwuofor had pulled up in the compound and the undertakers went straight for the casket and proceeded to the graveside for the graveside prayers. After offering his prayers alongside others, the priest then instructed that the casket should be lowered into the grave.
The lowering of the casket marked the eventual end of a life that spanned for 84 solid and years of activities.
Rest in peace the late Eziada Mrs Mary Iwuofor.
