Mr Gilson Umunnakwe (also known as Gil) is a combination of several personalities parked into one person by God; a biomedical scientist, a guru in healthcare administration and a public health expert. As if all these were not enough, Umunnakwe is a sportsman and a young and vibrant American trained politician.
Son of Gilbert and Cordella Umunnakwe from Isiozi Umuaka of Imo State Nigeria, Gilson has four siblings, Ben, Ivanna, Daniela and Emma.
He is a member of St Jude’s Catholic Church. He graduated from Allen High School in 2013 where he picked interest in track and field events. His great athleticism in track and field events was made manifest in his university days. He took the first position in all his 400 meters and 4 by 2 relay races.
Umunnakwe later got has a Bsc in biomedical science and masters in healthcare administration. He is a public health protection expert.
