The support from Umuaka groups.

During the burial last week of Madam Regina Eburuaja, several groups from Umuaka did not only take part but also put up impressive and highly supportive performances and efforts. First, Fr Eburuaja Football Club and Umuaka Council of Clubs were seen trying their best to see the smooth transition of the deceased. Christian mothers from Umuaka, Christian fathers, students from Santa Maria Secondary Umuaka, cultural troupes and more were all present and each was busy with one assignment or another.
Despite all these, there was also a heavy presence of individuals from Umuaka. By the time Umuaka Times arrived at the family compound of the Eburuajas on January 11, 2021, there was a noticeable number of Akalites who were very busy with errands. Many indigenes of Mgbee expressed surprise considering the deep involvement of Umuaka persons during the burial.
From the onset, the whatsapp group which was a committee of friends of Fr Eburuaja was established by Umuaka Times together with the help of Engineer Jude Romanus Eze. This group which was mainly constituted of Akalites both in and outside Nigeria, was able to pull over a million Naira in support of the burial.
Eburuaja has always expressed his sincere thanks to Umuaka Times and other contributors who stood by him during the planning and burial of his mother.
