Lolo Juliet Anozie, the wife of Chief John Anozie, the Akuwudike 1 of Amazano has joined the growing number of Diasporan Imolites who lives overseas and in Nigeria to drum up support for Chief TJ Ehirim on his quest to be the next governor of the state come 2023. Lolo Anozie who confirmed that Dr Ehirim is a man with a giant heart, after her close watch and observations on the political speeches, lamentations and charity works of Dr Ehirim both in and outside Nigeria.
On her reasons for endorsing the political aspiration of Dr TJ Ehirim, Lolo Anozie told the American correspondent of Umuaka Times that Dr Ehirim is a man who has a stake in the health sector in South Africa where he lives. “With his exposure and excellent scorecard in South Africa, he will be able to duplicate such ventures in Imo State and invest heavily on job creations, quality education and more.”
Lolo Anozie who acknowledged the roles new breed world leaders are playing around the world in today’s politics questioned why Nigerians especially Imolites, find it difficult to follow the new trend around the world by electing highly intellectual and resourceful politicians in the class of Dr TJ Ehirim to manage the state.
On the role of Imo women in the next coming dispensation, Lolo Anozie appealed to Imo women especially the economically disadvantaged ones to key into the TJ Ehirim project and emancipate themselves from wrong representations by half baked politicians. She finally appealed to the new breed Imo youths, voters and political observers to give all their support to Dr Ehirim come 2023.
Another area Lolo Anozie emphasized on is the role played by those she described as “Facebook and whatsapp group politicians” who have no voters’ cards. She passionately appealed to such Imolites to update their voters’ cards in readiness for the great task ahead. “No one wins elections on Facebook or Whatsapp platforms. Our people especially our youths should endeavour to be totally prepared to cast their votes come 2023 in support of Dr TJ Ehirim.”
