Thanks. I am Ambassador Sixtus Obinna Nwoke. I am the Continental Speaker Independent Pan African Youth Parliament South Africa, Convener African Indigenous Center For Sustainable Development Goals. I am a Parliamentarian as well as a certified SDGs coach.
You are a member TJ Ehirim governorship project. Which position do you occupy in the group?
Yes I am a member of Project TJ Ehirim.
How did you join the group?
First I started as the Director Advocacy/Contacts and Mobilization then. Presently, I am the Director General of the Project.
Tell us a little about the TJ Ehirim group.
Project TJ Ehirim is a movement premised on social, political and leadership change. It is the dawn of the new normal with the aim of taking over the realms of governance in Imo State come 2023. Our aim is to uplift the living standard of our people including hope for the pensioners among other things.
Why do you have confidence in Ehirim as the next gov of Imo State?
I have implicit confidence in him because he is a man with broader administrative knowledge. He is an obvious gift to our generation therefore embodies the highly needed know-how for a generational change. He is a sound academic, successful medical practitioner, a passionate community support system.
He is God fearing and has love and respect for humanity. He is a complete package of our generation. He is presently the best amongst the rest of us.
Do you personally know Ehirim? If yes tell us about his person.
Yes I know him very well. Like I said above, he is a rare breed and should be supported by all for a better Imo. He is a good family man. I know Nwanagamkpa very well.
How is the political group of Ehirim structured?
It is structured around likeminded friends, ndi Imo, women and men, youths who are sincerely desirous of Sustainable Economic Growth of our state. It is not just for expressing outrage, although some of that may be important to do as we move on.
We are not like the conventional group, we are different because our approach to issues are not confrontational but on issues and things that are wrong in our states.
How many people are in the group?
As at now, we are over 13,000 registered members. It is my belief that before 2023, we would have taken over in numbers and strength.
To what extent have you guys been consulting?
Our consultation for now is grassroots catchment. We are not going to let out all our approach to the public for now, but be rest assured that we are applying the Termites Paradigm and it’s working.
What is the level of acceptance of Ehirim by the Imo people?
Overwhelming.
Which political party is he coming out from?
We will let you know at the appropriate time.
Tell us his areas of strength. What is your final word for Imo people?
His strength is his chronic belief ve in uplifting the down-trodden which he has been doing even as a student.
My word for Ndi Imo is to be optimistic, IGIRIGINDU ga-ada sa anyi ozo.
