THE FIRST GOOD MAN I EVER HAD, KNOWN AND LOVED.
God is the author of Life and He is the author of death. The only way we can escape death is to escape birth. But if we come to birth, it is sure that we are going to die someday, some young, some old and some Later in Life. Sometimes death comes when we still have plans for tomorrow; an inevitable end indeed. But in your case, you achieved even more than you intended on earth by God’s grace and you were exceptionally happy about it and to answer the call of nature therefore.
Daddy, your image is all I see whenever I close my eyes, our special friendship, togetherness and unforgettable moments from cradle till your last breath. I cherished all the wonderful memories we had, the caring heart, warm embrace, words of encouragement and special smiles you gave me. You were there for me through good and bad times regardless. I never in anyway questioned your love and care for me because it was obvious, you ceaselessly showered me with endless blessings, spiritually, physically and otherwise based on my obedience and steadfast love to you. You thought me how important hard work, sincerity, respect and trust in God matter a lot in life. You positively changed so many lives, gave hope to the Hopeless, guidance and counseling to many. I am forever proud of you because you were a true Legend, an Icon, my mentor, my hero, my advisor and my best friend. God loved you most; I call you The IROKO TREE, THE LION HIMSELF, THE FEARLLLESS ADVOCATE, A GENUINE AND TRUE LEADER, MAN OF PPEACE, MAN OF HIS PEOPLE, ONYE EJI EJE MBA, OJIAKU KARA and above all, A ROLE MODEL. Your life on earth was a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. I love you so very much for everything you were and stood for and I am so grateful, you will forever be irreplaceable in my heart. My solace is that you lived an outstanding and a worthy life worth emulating.
