Uju Onwdiwe floats Igolo Njaba Foundation.
1 min readA two time former member of Imo State House of Assembly who represented Njaba LGA at the state House of Assembly, Ambassador Uju Onwudiwe popularly known as Igolo has floated a non-governmental organization NGO to build the capacity of the poor and the downtrodden.
In a brief interview the former law maker gave to Umuaka Times last week, she disclosed that the NGO which is officially known as Igolo Njaba Foundation is involved in several focus areas.
The foundation according to Igolo, will deeply protect the rights and interest of the women, vulnerable people, special citizens and men as well.
Igolo described the foundation as a voice for the voiceless.
On education, Igolo told Umuaka Times that the foundation will also promote education and learning in Njaba LGA.
While giving her final response, Igolo later disclosed that the foundation’s focus community is Njaba LGA for now and later, it will expand to include other areas of the state.
The former house member also took the opportunity and advised all the aspirants in the state for the local government polls scheduled to hold in a few weeks’ time to understand that politics is not a do-or-die affair.
