Umuaka Charity Foundation to empower beneficiaries on Feb 25.

The 20 young Akalites who benefitted from the much publicized Umuaka Charity Foundation grant will on Tuesday, 25 February 2025 gather at Sancta Maria Secondary School by 10am and collect their items and cash gifts for their farming projects. From what Umuaka Times gathered, the people who will benefit from the Tuesday outreach are those who applied for poultry farming who are 14 in number.
Fillers from some top officials of the organization that reached Umuaka Times last week showed that each of the farmers will appear in his or her green branded top during the event. Umuaka Times also further gathered that every plan to ensure the success of the program has been excellently put in place. They also used the opportunity to appeal to well to do Akalites to make their contributions towards the program by donating more money so as to enable the foundation to reach its 100 youths target.
A statement from one of the top officials of the group which Umuaka Times came across last week disclosed that 90 percent of the N500,000 grant for the beneficiaries will come in form of materials for the poultry business. Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with Umuaka Times supported the decision.
