Umuaka Times discovers world class poet in Amiyi.

A great poet of sound poetry acumen and international repute has been discovered in Amiyi Akah Autonomous Community. Mr. Joe Blaise Nnaemeka Akanazu is a world famously acclaimed poet whose poetry works are recited among secondary schools across Nigeria and other parts of Africa at several literary events. Mr. Nnaemeka Akanazu who was born and raised in Nigeria is also an international development expert who is based in Germany. The information Umuaka Times gathered from highly dependable sources, Mr Akanazu attended a Catholic seminary school and later furthered his education and obtained a degree in Public Administration in one of the universities in Nigeria.
In Germany, he did a full time course in Insurance Management and became an expert in insurance. After considering his insurance marketing abilities and successes over the years, about 40 German based insurance firms engaged his services for effective marketing of their insurance policies. His fluency both in written and spoken German language played an instrumental role to the above appointment. This feat exposed him to both the high and mighty across some states and cities in Germany.
While building his profile in international development, Nnaemeka was elected as the Deputy Coordinator Ndi Igbo in Germany. The organization is known as N.I.G., which is a socio-cultural organization and the umbrella body for all Igbo unions in Germany. He was also the former Vice Chairman Igbo Union South West Germany and the former Secretary General Imo Forum in Freiburg. As if all these were not enough, Mr Akanazu dived into the mainstream German politics in his locality; he was a candidate in the 2010 Migrantenbeirat electionin Freiurg.
Despite the heavy tasks associated with his international development positions, the prolific poet still finds time to dive into the world of poetry where he writes a new poem every Sunday. Since he started the weekly ritual, he has authored over 500 poems which have earned him uncountable reviews and commendations from several poets and institutions around the globe. Among the over 500 poems by Nnaemeka Akanazu, 120 have been analyzed and packaged for educational purposes ready to be unveiled in Nigeria by December .
While speaking with the German correspondents of Umuaka Times a couple of weeks ago in his residence, Mr Nnaemeka Akanazu who is a well-equipped keyboardist, disclosed that his own brand of poems has the ability to strike one with emotions that take him away from his immediate environment to an abstract world of new thinking, reflections and discoveries.
