Umuaka Times to train local reporters.
1 min readIn order to engage the youths in some useful activities, develop their writing and academic skills and empower them on how to dictate and halt the spread of fake news, Umuaka Times has rolled out a program to train the youths.
This program which will mainly focus on the training of youths in the act of rural journalism will also include capacity building in leadership skills, behavioural change and other forms of capacity buildings.
This program which has been in the pipeline for over a period of 5 months will focus mainly on Umuaka youths who are interested to develop their writing skills.
At the end of the program, certificate of completion of courses will be issued to the participants.
This program will be strictly free.
