Unending tears as Mrs. Martha Madueke is buried.

The Amauju village in Isu Njaba town was in a real state of mourning on January 22, 2021 during the burial of the late Mrs Martha Azuka Madueke. The mother of 5 died last month after a short battle with brief illness.
When Umuaka Times arrived the family compound on the burial date, the entire mourners, visitors and family members were all in bad mood over the death of the 52 year old lady whom many have described as an exceptional woman.
When the body of the deceased was taken to the nearby St Teresa’s Catholic Church in Amauju for the requiem Mass, her children, especially the female ones who are still in their teens and early 20s could not stop crying even as the Mass was going on. The officiating priest took time to console the family and prayed God to receive the soul of the woman who lived in Lagos with her husband and children.
At the close of the church service, the priest called the husband of the deceased to come and make a speech. The man came out and addressed the congregation and thanked all that have assisted the family so far.
The church service came to an end and all went to the family compound of the Maduekes again.
Shortly after that, the body of Mrs Martha Azuka Madueke was buried. At this time, the Umuaka Times publisher who is a friend of the first son of the late Christian mother, Smart Madueke lost control of his emotion as well and broke down in tears.
May God protect and provide for the family left behind by Mrs Martha Azuka Madueke.
