Uzoma Nnaji thanks Echendu for giving peace a chance in NINN.
2 min readA passionate PDP chieftain from Ekwe Ward 1 Isu LGA Imo State, Comrade Uzoma Nnaji (JP), has expressed his deep gratitude to Hon Kingsley Echendu for the resolution he (Echendu) took last week by totally registering his support for the candidacy of Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo who is vying to represent the Njaba, Isu, Nwankele and Nkwerre Constituency also known as NINN at the Federal House of Reps Abuja. Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo who is currently representing the NINN Constituency at the Green Chambers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria recently decamped from the APC to PDP and almost immediately swung into troubled waters with Hon Kingsley Elendu.
In a press statement Comrade Nnaji issued last week which was made available to newsmen in Owerri, Nnaji expressed his joy and commended the role played by the two top politicians of PDP extraction. He wrote; “with due honour and respect, I most humbly wish to congratulate our amiable volcanic political force, a peace ambassador, a great believer of equity, fairplay and justice, a gentleman per excellence and undoubtedly the new face of NINN, the biggest Federal Constituency in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his political sagacity and decision to rest all the potent arsenal in his armoury, albeit the latent pursuit of a just political course, to join hands with our brother, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo to ensure the success of PDP in our Federal Constituency and at all levels.”
Nnaji who is a top PDP politician and businessman appealed to the PDP members in the locality to give all the PDP candidates all the support that they need to triumph come 2023.
Last week, many people who heard of the peace accord between the two top politicians expressed their happiness for the unity that has come to elevate the politicians and position their party properly for 2023 elections.
Nnaji warned the PDP flag bearers that 2023 would never be business as usual as the people are already expecting the dividends of democracy from them.
For now, party members have shown their determination to work for the interest of their party and secure their constituency.
