The Labour Party candidate for Imo House of Assembly for Njaba LGA in the recently concluded general elections in Imo State, High Chief Macdonald Dire, (Oyi Njaba) has declared that the Obidients across the country would not be expecting anything good from the Bola Tinubu led Federal Government. Chief Dire declared this last week while holding talks with Umuaka Times when the newspaper called on him.
From his position, High Chief Dire declared that Nigerians have got so tired of APC years back and want an undiluted breath of fresh air. On the sudden removal of fuel subsidy, Dire wondered if those APC members and their supporters now have where they would be buying fuel at a cheaper rate. He described the APC supporters as victims of misinformation.
On the petition filed by the LP at the tribunal challenging the victory INEC declared over APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, Dire appealed to Obidients across the country to remain calm, law abiding and prayerful “because victory will be ours at last.”
The Obidient politician used the opportunity and condemned the abduction of four male children from Amakor Autonomous Community a couple of days ago. He appealed to Akalites to always remain watchful and be their brother’s keepers. He prayed to God to provide the solution that would lead to where the four children are kept.
