The organization of the 2023 Oghu Okwuama London Ibele which was held yesterday being Saturday August 5, 2023 cost not less than N250, 000 which was paid to several rain stoppers to make sure there would be no rain during the event. This was disclosed to Umuaka Times by a top member of the organizing committee of the epoch-making event which generally cost over two million Naira to organize.

Before the event took off on the D-Day, several guests were apprehensive that it was going to rain and wondered why the event had not kicked off at the mercy of the rain, even when it was almost 3:30pm. Indeed it seemed as if it would rain even before the event started, but the hired rain stoppers put their spanners in the work and totally took charge of the cloud! No drop of rain was recorded!

A highly dependable source from Umuaka Times confirmed that it rained in Achara area during the late evening hours of the day but the rain never reached anywhere near Eke Ibele central stadium. The rain stoppers, the Okwuoma London youths, and many others indeed contributed in diverse ways to write the success story of what is perhaps the most properly organized oghu event of 2023 in Umuaka.

Umuaka Times the official newspaper of the event, took time to commend the organizers of the event for a job well done.
