South African based businessman and multiple chieftaincy title holder, Chief Vincent Emeka Okorom has disclosed to Umuaka Times why he accepted a chieftaincy title from his Ugbele-Akah Autonomous Community a couple of days ago.

The Ebekuodike 1 of Umuaka while celebrating with his parents, siblings and other family relations on the golden jubilee celebration of his parents’ marriage, disclosed that he never asked for or told anyone to request on his behalf to be given a chieftaincy title by Ugbele people. According to him, the title came as a reward for all he has been doing for his Ugbele people.

It can be recalled that last week, Chief Emeka Okorom bagged yet another chieftaincy title as the Ikemba 1 of Ugbele Akpaka.

On his new position as the new Ikemba in town, Chief Okorom promised the Ugbele community that he would always use his position to work for the progress of Ugbele-Akah Autonomous Community.

On the forthcoming general elections across Nigeria, Chief Emeka Okorom advised Akalites and Nigerians in general to vote for those with capacity to effect positive change in Nigeria.

In his conclusion, he thanked his parents for their togetherness and the love they have shown to each other. He also thanked the catholic community of Ugbele and the parish priest as well as the Bishop of Orlu Diocese Rev Dr Ukwuoma for finding time to come and bless his parents and the entire Okorom family during the celebrations.

Chief Emeka Okorom on the same day dedicated his country home to God. Chief Austin Okorom also had some good reasons to thank God as he held the child dedication of his daughter on the same day.
