The remains of the top community leader and security adviser from Umuele Amazano Njaba LGA of Imo stated will be buried on Friday 2nd December 2022. This information was contained in a press statement issued by the first son of the deceased Mr Amuche Akubuiro which was made available to newsmen in Owerri last week.
According to the press statement, there would be a Christian wakes night at the family compound of the Akubiros in Umuehiri Umuele Amazano on Thursday 1st December while the burial proper would take place on the second of December.
The body of the deceased leaves City of David Mortuary Okwudor by 7 am and lies in state in his family compound in Umuehiri Umuele. Mass service holds by 10 am at St Mathew’s Anglican Church Umuele. Interment follows immediately by 12 mid day at the deceased compound.
According to the first son of the deceased, Mr Amuche Akubuiro, his late father, Pa Akubuiro died on October 17, 2022 after a brief illness.
Umuaka Times gathered from highly dependable family sources that the late Akubuiro died at the age of 91. He was a building contractor and later diversified into security business. As a security expert, he was in charge of the security in Umuele for a long period of 15 years.
