Recall that two weeks ago, Umuaka Times published a story concerning the killings of Nigerian businessmen based in Germiston, South Africa. From the news reports filed by South African corespondents of Umuaka Times, the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerian Embassy has moved into the matter. Policemen have also been deployed to the troubled Germiston, the area where the violence is taking place.
Umuaka Times gathered mid last week that the ring leader of the gang has been arrested and his arrest has also led to the arrests of other criminals who took part in the killings. To officially register their grievances, Nigerians in Germiston last week led a peaceful protest to the court in the area where they carried some placards with the pictures of the victims.
