Umuaka Charity Foundation begins donations to empower 100 youths.

Umuaka Charity Foundation, a community based organization has opened its doors to receive financial donations from well-to-do Akalites. The purpose of the donations from what Umuaka Times gathered is to raise funds to propel the mainstream program of the organization towards empowering the young and active Akalites in agriculture.
In the last few weeks, Umuaka Charity Foundation has embarked on massive campaign to enlighten Akalites and their friends about the program and appeal for their support.
Several whatsapp groups and platforms in Umuaka Municipal Council last week, received video jingles and other appeals from the organization last week requesting them to support the program. Umuaka Times can confirm that some individual Akalites have started to send their donations in the whatsapp group created some few weeks ago for the purpose of receiving donations from several donors.
The entire program is estimated to cost the sum of N50 million and Akalites who have so far come across the program have given their moral support and financial assistance as well. The organization appeals to public spirited individuals to contribute and donate immensely towards the program.
