Monsignor Eboh mourns Ezinne Susanna Durugo.

Celebrated Catholic priest and a professor of Cannon Law, Rev Father Simeon Eboh was among high profile personalities who came to Obazi, Isiozi Akah of Njaba LGA Imo State last Thursday, October 10, 2024 during the burial of late Ezinne Susanne Durugo. Speaking with Umuaka Times local correspondents at the burial ceremony of the woman who lived for 105 years, Professor Eboh told Umuaka Times that the late Ezinne Durugo was a woman who gave all her time and energy to the service of God.
Talking about her dedication to God, Professor Eboh said, “She never missed any Mass or even morning Mass. You know I was here (St Mary’s Catholic Church) from 1984 to 1990. She was someone who lived a good life worthy of emulation. That is why I came to honour and pray for the repose of her soul today.”
On the family she left behind, Eboh advised them to maintain the Christian legacy left behind by their mother, grandmother, sister and aunty.
The famous Catholic scholar used the opportunity and appealed to Christians especially Catholics to continue having faith in God for positive changes.
