Catholic priest and a professor of Cannon Law, Monsignor Simeon Eboh has disclosed that the Igbo youths asking for self-determination on how to govern themselves have the inalienable right to ask for that. Professor Eboh made this disclosure in Isiozi community Njaba LGA Imo State during the burial of the late Ezinne Susanne Titi Durugo recently when Umuaka Times had a chat with him.

Monsignor Eboh who personally drove himself to Umuaka during the burial of the late Ezinne Durugo seriously complained that Nigeria was being manipulated by foreign powers, especially Britain. “In Nigeria today, there is no vote and there is no democracy,” the clergyman said.

On the current democracy in Nigeria, Eboh disclosed to Umuaka Times that Nigeria was yet to have a true democracy because of the foreign powers and their local agents in Nigeria.

Speaking on the wish of many Nigerians that the military will come back, he argued that the military can come and fix things and move back to the barracks and not stay permanently.

The professor of Cannon Law finally described Nigeria as a product of European imperialism. “If we want to move forward, we must dismantle the current structure of the country.”
