Umuduruorji Achara launches “double Bus Stop”.

The Umuduruorji of Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community has launched Umuduruorji Bus Stop. The bus stop which somehow came in a deeply confusing manner left Umuaka Times reporters confused during an official visit at the places where the banners of the bus stops were displayed.
The banners which read, “Umuduruorji Bus Stop Acharaji Akah. Courtesy: Chief Mike Nwaikwu (Ugommuta)” were placed at two conflicting strategic places along the Orlu Owerri Express Road. The first banner is placed at the beginning of Umuduruorji Oboro Road off Orlu Owerri Express Road while coming from Owerri. The second banner with the same message is placed shortly after the first banner at the beginning of the close that leads to Ogbo Oshishi Market still at the same side of the road, (just a stone throw from each other).
Umuaka Times reporters who went to Achara community saw this as a seriously misleading error; the Ogbo Oshishi Market according to the information at hand already has a bus stop known as Ogbo Oshishi Bus Stop.
To confirm if this is really an error or not, the reporters sought answers from Chief Mike Nwaikwu, a high profile community leader and stakeholder in Acharaji Akah. While speaking with Umuaka Times, Chief Nwaikwu confirmed that he indeed sponsored the banners with his own money some years ago but the problem came from those who placed the banners wrongly. From the explanations he gave, the banner at Ogbo Oshishi Bus Stop ought not to have been there because Ogbo Oshishi Bus Stop is already a bus stop of its own. Hear him:
“The guys who placed the banner made a big mistake. The two banners were supposed to be at the same bus stop at the opposite direction.”
From the views expressed by Chief Mike Nwaikwu, the Ogbo Oshishi Bus Stop remains what it is and the bus stop leading from Umuduruorji to Oboro Amurie also remains the Umuduruorji Bus Stop Acharaji Akah.
