De Lemon Grove CEO receives Umuaka Times Award.

The boss of the newly opened high profile hotel in Achara Umuaka known as De Lemon Grove Hotel, Honourable Chimezie Ehirim on Sunday, 2 February 2025 received his prestigious Umuaka Times Indigenous Investor of the Year Award. The award which is referred in local parlance as “Aku Ruo Ulo Award” was awarded in recognition of the efforts of Honourable Chimezie Ehirim in investing in his fatherland Achara Umuaka.
During the presentation of the award which was held inside the restaurant section of the high profile hotel, several VIPs and friends of the young CEO were around to share and receive the good news with him. Prominent among them was the house member representing Njaba LGA in Imo State House of Assembly Hon Beneth Ozioma Worship Ebonine (Ezengwori).
In his speech during the event, the honourable member told the audience that for Umuaka to move forward, people like Honourable Ehirim should be encouraged to establish some branches of their businesses at home. The high profile politician who is popularly known as Eze Nwori also used the opportunity and appealed to other millionaire Akalites to follow the indigenous investment initiative of Hon. Ehirim and create jobs in Umuaka.
Another high profile Akalite who was present during the event was Hon. Ifeanyi Longinus Agumba, a Lagos based businessman, politician and a highly respected stakeholder in Achara who used the opportunity and extolled the virtues of Hon Ehirim. He also thanked Umuaka Times for spotting the silent humanitarian and business activities of Hon Ehirim.
Chief Oluchi Nwanarado, a top ranking chief in the community who officially presented the award to Ehirim, thanked the young investor, Umuaka Times and every other notable individual who made it to the event. He encouraged Ehirim to set a standard for himself and the hotel and be the best always.
In his acceptance speech, Ehirim expressed deep appreciations that Umuaka Times found him worthy to be among the prestigious list of Umuaka Times Merit Award laureates. He thanked all the guests, workers and management of the hotel for their support. He finally promised to make the hotel one of the best hotels in the entire Imo State.
De Lemon Grove Hotel is the latest exclusive and high class hotel in Njaba LGA that meets up with international standards of hotel business and management according to local ratings. The rooms are something else and the services are simply the best when compared to many other hotels. Last December, shortly after the opening of the big hospitality business, it was reported that some high profile Nollywood actors and businessmen and women marked the hotel as one of its choice hotels in the state anytime their business takes them down to Imo State.
