A new FM radio station which is situated in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State has hit the Nigerian airwaves with an electrifying bang! The radio station which is officially known as Lighthouse FM 93.5 is exclusively owned by Pastor George Izunwa, a popular Nigerian televangelist and capacity builder based in Port Harcourt the capital city of Rivers State. From what Umuaka Times local affairs correspondents gathered early last week in an exclusive chat with PastorGeorge, the CEO and founder of the FM radio station, the radio house is not modeled after Christian programs  but a purely circular business outfit with a key focus on education, entertainment, evangelism and empowerment.

Lighthouse FM 93.5 which is totally equipped to international standard is already undergoing test transmission as at press time last week. Some special interest sources that spoke with Umuaka Times last week confirmed Lighthouse FM will surely serve as an information hub which will break news fast from national politics to local traffic, reaching audiences far and wide.
