Umuaka Times Editorial: The Time to Fight Insecurity is Now.
2 min read
The recent wave of terrorist attacks across Nigeria has left many Nigerians shaken, others brutalized, and our nation reeling. From Ekwulobia to Calabar, from Kaduna to Zamfara, the story is the same: senseless violence, innocent lives lost, and a government seemingly under siege and absolutely helpless. Umuaka Times findings show that the litany of atrocities is staggering: police officers killed, students abducted, markets burned, communities razed. The terrorists seem emboldened, their tactics growing bolder by the day. But we must not be intimidated. We must not give in or continue to live in fear.

The Federal Government of Nigeria under the APC must stand firm and fight the terrorists. Fight with every fiber of our national strength, fight with every tool at her disposal, fight to protect our people, our sovereignty, and our very existence.
To the terrorists: you will not win. You will not divide the people. You will not silence Nigerians. Your guns, bombs, and threats will only strengthen the resolve of the people because Nigerians will not be intimidated.
To the government, Umuaka Times appeals to you that it is time to get serious. The people demand action, not just words. Deploy every resource, every strategy, every asset to root out these terrorists and restore peace to our land.
And to Nigerians, we say: be vigilant. Report suspicious movements, support our security agencies and stand united against this scourge. Together, we can defeat terrorism. Together, we will emerge stronger.
The world is watching Nigeria. Let us show them our strength, our resilience, and our determination to survive.
