The much awaited Umuaka Charity Foundation’s chicken sales bonanza was held on Wednesday 24 December 2025 at the premises of St Mary’s Catholic Church Umuaka. The event which started as early as 9 am lasted to 3:15pm. To make the event memorable, a raffle draw was also organized and many people who bought the birds also won life birds.
From what Umuaka Times gathered, a total of 50 birds were sold during the sales bonanza and 10 people went home with free chickens as they emerged as the winners of the raffle draw.
Speaking with Umuaka Times from his base in Angola, the founder of the foundation Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu expressed satisfaction that a program he started just two years ago is already producing good results.
