High Chief Magnus Agara Loses Mother-In-Law. Burial Date Fixed.

The family of Pa Friday AkaraFannahs (Nnah) of Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, has announced the glorious transition of their beloved mother, grandmother and matriarch, late Mrs Irene IfinibieFannahs (Nnah) nee Nwulu, who passed on at the age of 81.
Umuaka Times gathered that late MrsFannahs, who lived from 1945 to 2026, is being remembered as a true mother, a pillar of love, wisdom and unity whose legacy will live on.
Announcing the funeral on behalf of his family, High Chief Amb. Engr. Magnus Agara, the OkpataOzuruohanaeze 1 of AmurieOmanze, and his wife have invited friends, well-wishers, and associates to join them as they give their beloved mother a befitting farewell.
In a press statement Umuaka Times obtained, Chief Agara wrote:
“With deep sorrow but gratitude to God, my wife and I invite you to the Funeral Service of our beloved Mother, Late Mrs Irene IfinibieFannahs (Nnah). She was a true mother, a pillar of Love, Wisdom and Unity whose legacy will live on. Rest peacefully, Mama.”
According to the funeral arrangements released by the family, which was signed by Uchendu Nnah, and made available to the press, the burial activities will commence on Friday, 23rd October, 2026, with the body leaving the Military Mortuary, Port Harcourt, Rivers State by 8am.
Umuaka Times reporters who spoke with High Chief Agara last week, confirmed that the funeral service for the repose of the soul of the matriarch, will be conducted by Deeper Life Bible Church at National Primary School, AzuminiNdoki, Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, on Saturday, 24th October, 2026 by 10AM.Interment follows immediately at the husband’s compound, Obiohuru, AzuminiNdoki, while reception will hold at the National Primary School, AzuminiNdoki on the same day.
A Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, 25th October, 2026 by 10am at Deeper Life Bible Church, AzuminiNdoki, Ukwa East LGA.The family expresses appreciation for the outpouring of love and support, saying: “Thank you for the love, the lessons, and the legacy. Forever in our hearts.”
Friends and sympathizers are expected to join the family in AzuminiNdoki to pay their last respects as the world marks the exit of the woman of substance regarded as the mother for all.
