Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Eunice Anugoh Remembered.

January 4 2026 has come and gone. This was the day everybody was waiting for when the children of the late Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh marked one year memorial service for their late mother. Umuaka Times which was the official newspaper of the event arrived at the premises of St John’S Anglican Church in Amaeze Amurie Omanze Isu LGA Imo State on time for the coverage of the big event fully prepared. Soon after the arrival of the reporters, the priests and other parishioners started to arrive one after the other for the take-of of the Mass. Many came from various communities within the town of Amurie and Umuaka while others came from outside Umuaka and beyond.
About 12 minutes before the Mass began, a black Lexus Jeep pulled around the compound. When Umuaka Times reporters went towards the vehicle, behold it was Chief Barrister Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba), the first son of the deceased. Shortly after his arrival, the Mass began. Two prominent personalities also joined to take part in the Mass service; first was Rev. Benjamin Chinedum Okeke, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Orlu and Engineer Magnus Agara, two personalities whose presence meant a lot to the bereaved family.
Before the Mass came to an end, the first son of the family Chief Barrister Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba) was called to the alter to make a speech. Clad in magnificent traditional white lace, the Australian based attorney walked to the alter grabbed the microphone and made a brief speech. At the end of the speech, he announced several donations he made to encourage the church and her members.
Engineer Magnus Agara who made it to the church also took some time to offer his vote of thanks and later donated the sum of N10million to the church, N1 million to the bishop and N500,000 to the priests.
At the end of the church service, the officiating priest and the bishop hailed the bereaved family for her presence and contributions towards the church. Engineer Agara who came alone with his beautiful was later called out to the alter and the whole church blessed them.
